- 32 oz frozen shredded hashbrowns
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- ¼ cup green onions, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil or cooking spray for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sauté in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through. Shred the chicken once cooled.
- In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, minced garlic, and half of the shredded cheese until combined.
- Gently fold in the frozen hashbrowns until evenly coated.
- Layer half of the hashbrown mixture in the baking dish, followed by the shredded chicken, then top with the remaining hashbrown mixture.
- Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top and bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
