  • 32 oz frozen shredded hashbrowns
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup green onions, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or cooking spray for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sauté in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through. Shred the chicken once cooled.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, minced garlic, and half of the shredded cheese until combined.
  4. Gently fold in the frozen hashbrowns until evenly coated.
  5. Layer half of the hashbrown mixture in the baking dish, followed by the shredded chicken, then top with the remaining hashbrown mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top and bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
