Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by combining warm milk and sugar in a bowl, sprinkling the yeast on top. Let it sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
  2. In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt. Add melted butter and the yeast mixture; stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm area for about an hour or until doubled in size.
